This class is for Children ages newborn to 3 years. At this age the attention span is
not very long. We try to do a short Bible Lesson, a short memory verse or make ait to where they can understand
it. Craft time we do stickers, coloring or pasting depending on what we have for that lesson. Sometimes we read
a book that has smething to do with God or Jesus or both. After the lesson is over the children play with toys that
are in the Nursery. The children do have a little snack if they want it after the lesson.
The nursery has pagers for Sunday School and or Church. The parent is given a
pager. If we would need them for any reason we can page them without having to leave the classroom.
Teacher Information:
*Betty Becraft has taught Nursery children, 4 & 5 year olds, 9 year olds, teen and led
in Young Girls Missionary organizations. Betty has been teaching Nursey Sunday School for the past 3 years.
Testimony:
By the gracious deeds of Betty's Uncle and neighbors, she was able to attend
Sunday School and Church. Through singing and Bible teaching, Betty received the gift of eternal life at the age
of 10 and was baptized. Today she continues to lean on God's strength and leadership. "
*Shari Hiltibrand has been teaching Nursery Sunday School for 3 years. She has been
doing child care for 20 years. "I love little ones and working with them is fun!" Shari says.
Testimony:
Shari grew up at Highland Ave. Baptist Tabernacle. Through Sunday School, Vacation Bible
School and Church, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was Baptized at the age of 12. Today Shari tries
to grow with God and hopefully to do what he wants wants her to do.
